Venus Bay, EP

On Wednesday the 3rd we went to Venus Bay. The Venus Bay van park had bore water only and it was incredibly salty. The water pressure was pathetic as well but being so salty you would not want to use it much anyway. So we just used our tank water and we were only staying one night so it was not a problem.
The town is on the side of a cliff and these are the views from the top of the cliff.

On the road into town is Doyle's Well where Edward John Eyre, the explorer who went across the bottom of Australia, used as a watering hole. He only survived due to these sought of wells mostly dug/found by Aboriginies.

After setting up we went back down the road a bit and had a look at Talia Caves. They were really interesting and the wave action was great to watch.

We had never seen a road sign like that one before.

We went fishing that afternoon and again, no luck.
