Friday the 23rd October it was time to leave our Member's Stop Over. We drove on into Bunbury and stayed at the Discovery Village (Top Tourist). Just a tip, do not rely on the prices they have in their book for the list of parks. Ring if you want to know the 'real' price (not happy).
Had a look at Bunbury from their spiral staircase lookout to get a feel for the place.
It is another port town but the real appeal of the place is in their hinterland. We went out to the Feguson Valley nearby and it is beautiful and green and wineries everywhere. We were told to check out this place where there is a display of gnomes, called Gnomesville. I was not looking forward to it thinking it was going to be absolutely boring. There are so many gnomes there it has to be seen to be believed. They go on for hundreds of metres.
It was hilarious. There are gnomes in families, in working groups, performing arts, police and firemen gnomes, and even three I saw chucking brown eyes. Between Linda and I we took alot of photos and I am going to put them all up so you get a feel for the place.
