Kununurra - Ord River and Lake Kununurra

Monday the 1st June, it was a bit colder today for the first day of winter, reached a top of 34 degrees. I could almost feel the chill in the air. Seriously I could but only because we were boating on the Ord River and Lake Kununurra and I had just had a swim, got back in the boat and we took off up the river about 55kph. Sorry I don’t know what that is in knots but that was what the skipper said we were doing. (I didn’t really feel a chill).

We took a cruise with Triple J Tours right up to the dam wall at Lake Argyle and back to Kununurra. We were picked up from our van park at 11.30am and went to the marina and headed out onto the lake and then up the river and had the swim on the way. We picked up more tourists at Lake Argyle and headed back and had afternoon tea on the way back. Watched the sunset over the lake and got back to marina about 5.30pm and dropped back at the van park. Saw a lot of wildlife including a heap of freshwater crocs. It was a great day.

Just spending our daughters inheritance. Sorry girls, we will try and save you some.
